Silver (Ag) nanowires (1 wt% silver nanowires in water)
Purity of Ag: 99.95+%
Average wire diameter: 55 - 75 nm
Average wire length: 20 - 40 μm
Instructions:
Nanowires usually agglomerate. Our silver nanowires are thus made as a suspension consisting of 1 wt% silver and 99 wt% ethanol, isopropanol, or water.
This suspension can be further diluted in such solvents as ethanol, isopropanol, deionized water, etc.
If necessary, the suspension can also be evaporated to obtain dry silver nanowires.
The suspension is stable within ~ a week. If the nanowires deposit and if necessary, one can stir the suspension using a glass rod to let the silver nanowires suspend again.
