This motor-drive coarse manipulator is used to position a pipette within the microscope's field of view, where it can then be micromanipulated more precisely with a fine hydraulic micromanipulator such as the MMO-4. It is controlled remotely using the electronic joystick. The Z-axis moves at double the speed of X/Y-axis, to facilitate changing samples rapidly. The MM-94 includes the drive unit for right-sided use, the joystick controller, and a dual control unit / power supply.* The MM-94 is the model for right-sided use, while the MM-94B is for left-sided use.
