Our Hot Start Enzyme Combo allows you to test 10 of our Hot Start enzymes to see which one works best for your application. To provide hot-start functionality, these enzymes are reversibly bound to an aptamer. The aptamer forms a hairpin and binds to the active site of the polymerase at sub-cycling temperatures, inactivating the enzyme and preventing spurious amplification. The aptamer is released at the first melt step, allowing full enzyme activity. Plus four tubes of reaction buffer (Klentaq Reaction Buffer, Klentaq Mutant Reaction Buffer, Taq Mutant Reaction Buffer, and ZipTaq Reaction Buffer). Special requests for substitution of RT-LAMP buffer or Klentaq1 buffer pH 7.9 for better fidelity will be honored.
