Our 5x ready-to-use PCR kit contains Hot Start OmniTaq 2, made with aptamer-based technology, enabling room temperature reaction set-up.Hot Start OmniTaq 2 DNA polymerase is a mutant of Taq polymerase that provides 2-3x faster PCR and some inhibition-resistance. Please note that Hot Start OmniTaq 2 is not yet optimized for use in RT-PCR or RT-LAMP. This kit can be used for conventional as well as real-time PCR. For real time reactions you may need to add a fluorescent dye as an alternative to probes.
